The launching ceremony of the 2026 "Zhe Li You Ai · Overseas Chinese Celebrate the Spring Festival" Dutch Station was held on January 20 at TAN Logistics BV in Zoetermeer.Li Guannan, Director of the Consular Department for Overseas Chinese Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands, Secretary Huang Mengsha, Huang Qilin, President of the Federation of Chinese Associations in the Netherlands, heads of sub‑venues for the Dutch Station event, and some representatives attended the ceremony.

President Huang Qilin delivered a speech. First, he expressed his sincere gratitude to the Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and the Zhejiang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. For many years, they have cared deeply for overseas Chinese, organizing a series of events for the New Year, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival every year. This care crosses mountains and oceans, warming every one of us. This Spring Festival care activity has brought us even more tangible care and warmth.

For the distribution of the care packages, we will uphold the principles of openness and fairness, and distribute them through community registration. We ask all overseas Chinese organizations to deliver every act of care accurately to every overseas compatriot. We will make reasonable arrangements based on the actual needs of overseas Chinese, so that everyone can feel the profound friendship from their hometown.

These care packages are not only material support, but also spiritual encouragement. They carry the deep concern of relevant domestic departments for us, making us, who are far away in a foreign land, feel incomparable warmth in this cold winter.

Let us work together to pass on this care, so that every overseas compatriot can spend a joyful and peaceful Spring Festival in a foreign country.

Spring Festival Letter to Overseas Compatriots of Zhejiang Origin

Yu Bin, Convener of the Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Organizations Alliance in the Netherlands and President of the Chinese Catering Association of the Netherlands, delivered a speech and announced the distribution plan for this year's "Zhe Li You Ai · Overseas Chinese Celebrate the Spring Festival" consolation gift boxes.

As the Spring Festival approaches, we tly launch the Netherlands Station of the "Zhe Li You Ai · Overseas Chinese Celebrate the Spring Festival" care activity, and have received the "Family Letter" and Spring Festival care packages from the Zhejiang Overseas Chinese Affairs Office and Zhejiang Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. This care from our hometown keeps our hearts closely connected to our native land, even though we are overseas.

Every word of the Family Letter is full of affection, and every gift warms the heart. They carry the concern and blessings of our hometown and motherland for overseas compatriots, and also inspire us to keep striving. Though thousands of miles away from home, we always take Zhejiang as our root and China as our soul.

This kindness is not only warmth but also expectation. In the new year, we will continue to unite and support each other, actively integrate  the local community, tell the stories of Zhejiang and China well, contribute the strength of the overseas Chinese community to the friendship between China and the Netherlands and the development of our hometown, and live up to the deep affection and great expectations.
