
Established in 1987, the Landelijke Federatie van Chinese Organisaties in Nederland (LFCON) is the umbrella organization representing Chinese community groups in the Netherlands. As the official bridge between the Chinese community and the Dutch government, the Federation engages in dialogue on behalf of the Chinese community, safeguards its legitimate rights and interests, promotes integration into Dutch society, and fosters unity among its member organizations. The Federation is a non-profit public welfare organization with no political or religious affiliation.
As the official communication channel between the government and the Chinese community, it systematically reflects the demands and actual situation of the Chinese community and strives for its due rights and interests in accordance with the law.
It unites Chinese community organizations across the Netherlands, promotes collaboration and consensus, enhances the overall social status of the Chinese community, and supports Chinese overseas Chinese in participating in politics and deliberating on state affairs.
All activities are based on the fundamental interests of Chinese nationals residing abroad and overseas Chinese. We adhere to the principles of non-profit, non-religious and non-political nature, and are not involved in commercial operations.

Stichting Landelijke Federatie van Chinese Organisaties in Nederland has established a Board of Directors as its statutory governing body, which represents the Federation externally and assumes legal liability. The Council serves as the internal management and operational body, consisting of the Standing Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, member organizations and an Advisory Group. The Secretariat is responsible for daily administration and external liaison. The three bodies perform their respective duties and jointly ensure the standardized operation of the Federation.
Represent the Federation externally, sign contracts and manage bank accounts.
Assume full legal and financial responsibility.
Implement the Federation's objectives and make final decisions on major matters.
Appoint or dismiss members of the Board of Directors (based on recommendations from the Council).
Democratically elect the President and other important positions.
Review annual financial statements and operational reports.
Propose the removal of Board members.
Discuss and decide major internal affairs of the Federation; its resolutions shall be implemented only after confirmation by the Board of Directors.
Responsible for the daily administrative management of the Federation.
Undertake external liaison, communication and coordination functions.
Organize meetings and manage documents and archives.
Assist the Board of Directors and the Council in implementing various resolutions.
